TALE - Tony Awad Learning and Education

The TALE Foundation (Tony Awad Learning and Education) is a family initiative born from the conviction that education is the key to a better future.
Inspired by the life and values of Tony Awad, it continues his commitment to knowledge, merit and solidarity.

The Man Behind the Mission: Tony Awad’s Legacy

For Tony Awad, true legacy was not material wealth, but the transmission of knowledge and human values.
A graduate of HEC Paris and Sciences Po, he led a brilliant career as a senior executive while remaining deeply committed to sharing knowledge.

The son of a schoolteacher, he grew up with a love of learning and the conviction that education could transform lives — and transform Lebanon.
Alongside his professional responsibilities, he taught evening classes at Saint Joseph University, believing that a society progresses only through its educated, active citizens. This guiding belief shaped his entire life.

Tony Awad often said:
« Education is the most precious legacy one can pass on. »

A Commitment Continued by His Family

Tony Awad Learning and Education Foundation

The TALE Foundation is a family foundation that now carries this ideal: giving every young Lebanese the opportunity to learn, dream and build a better future.

Through its solidarity and excellence scholarship programs, the foundation supports both families in difficulty and promising young talents, combining equal opportunity with recognition of merit.

In Tony Awad’s spirit, the foundation also develops well-being initiatives designed to nurture dignity, knowledge and the future driving forces of Lebanese society.
